What to Include
For a connection, playback, download, or sync problem, include:
- ShelfPod version and build number.
- iOS version and device model.
- Audiobookshelf server version.
- Whether the server is local, remote, behind a reverse proxy, or reached through a VPN.
- The steps that reproduce the problem and what you expected to happen.
- A screenshot or redacted log if it helps explain the issue.
Before sending a log or screenshot, check it for server addresses, usernames, listening history, or other private details.
Common Questions
Unable to connect to a server
Confirm that the address opens from the same device, that the Audiobookshelf server is reachable, and that ShelfPod has Local Network access in iOS Settings when the server is on your home network. If you use a reverse proxy or HTTPS certificate, verify that it is valid and reachable from the device.
Purchases or subscriptions
Use Restore Purchases in ShelfPod if an earlier purchase is not recognized. Apple manages billing and subscriptions through your Apple Account. Refund requests and billing corrections must be made through Apple's purchase support; ShelfPod cannot issue App Store refunds.
Playback or download problems
Include the media type (podcast or audiobook), the Audiobookshelf server version, whether the item was streamed or downloaded, and the exact step at which playback or downloading failed. Do not send the media file unless support specifically requests a small, non-private test file.
Privacy and Terms
Support messages are used only to respond to you and investigate the issue. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for the broader rules that apply to ShelfPod.
